The release of the highly anticipated Sikandar teaser, featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, has faced yet another scheduling change. Initially set for December 27, 2024, coinciding with Salman Khan’s birthday, the teaser was first delayed to December 28 at 11:07 AM, out of respect for the passing of former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

FURTHER DELAYED TO 4:05 PM DUE TO MOURNING

The teaser’s release has now been shifted to 4:05 PM on December 28. Nadiadwala Grandson, the film's production company, shared the update on social media, explaining, “As the nation mourns the loss of the Honourable Dr. Manmohan Singh, we have decided to postpone the #Sikandar Teaser launch to 4:05 PM tomorrow. During this period of reflection, we stand in solidarity with the country. We thank you for your patience and assure you—the teaser will be worth the wait! #TeamSikandar.”

FANS RESPOND WITH APPRECIATION FOR THE TEAM'S SENSITIVITY

The announcement was met with praise from fans, many of whom appreciated the decision to show respect during the mourning period. One fan commented, “Respect for Salman bhai and the team for this decision,” while another said, “We’ll wait because this teaser is going to be phenomenal.” A third user added, “A grand salute to the Sikandar team for their thoughtful action. RIP Dr. Manmohan Singh.”

POSTER REVEAL AND TEASER EXCITEMENT

Ahead of the teaser’s release, the makers revealed a striking poster on December 26, showcasing Salman Khan in a rugged avatar, holding a spear. The poster was accompanied by the message, “You asked, and we delivered! Here’s our special gift for all @BeingSalmanKhan fans. Stay tuned for the #SikandarTeaserTomorrow at 11:07 AM.”

FILM DETAILS AND EXCITEMENT FOR EID 2025

Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is set to be a high-octane action-packed film slated for release on Eid 2025. The film also features a stellar ensemble cast, including Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi, alongside the lead pair, Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.

The rescheduling of the teaser’s release reflects the team’s sensitivity during the national period of mourning, but excitement for the film remains high. Fans are eagerly awaiting the teaser, which is expected to set the stage for one of the year’s most significant cinematic releases.
